The "Viking" box with integral wedge connectors is often a better option than the standard finger box known to Makers and laser cutters because it's structurally stronger (doesn't depend on glue), doesn't fall apart during assembly like finger boxes sometimes do, and offers an easy way to open and close the box - ideal for both gift boxes and quick boxes for electronic projects. If you're using the box as an electronics project enclosure, I recommend importing the .SVG into Inkscape and adding holes for cables, plugs, knobs, buttons, and displays before lasercutting the whole thing at once. The tabs protruding from the top and bottom offer good ventilation for electronics projects if you cut holes or slots in the top and bottom, as they act as feet ensuring airflow. Suitable materials include 3 mm HDF, 4 mm HDF, 3-6 mm plexiglass, 4-24 mm plywood, or steel, aluminium, or stainless steel if you have access to a >500W laser cutter.
