Viking comb
sketchfab
Model of a Viking Age comb made from bone, carved with a basic pattern, dating back to the period between 750 and 1050 AD. Combs are a ubiquitous type of find on archaeological excavations during the Viking Age. Typically crafted from bone or antler, they appear in both graves and settlement sites. As a common personal accessory, combs were frequently decorated, occasionally even featuring runic inscriptions. Created using Blender and Substance Painter, this model is UV-mapped and features a single material. The zip-file "Viking comb.zip" includes all textures as high-resolution PNG-files (2048 x 2048 pixels, 8 bits), along with the model in multiple file formats: Autodesk FBX 3.9.1 (.fbx), OBJ 2.3.6 (.obj & .mtl), Collada 1.4.1 (.dae), 3D Studio 1.0.0 (.3ds), and Blender v2.79 (.blend).
