Getting back into modeling and texturing is a thrill, finally! University beckons next week in Vancouver and I'm eager. First up, a blockout was crafted in 3dsmax, followed by fine-tuning the shape in zbrush. Next, some serious detailing work ensued - a quick unwrap led to sketching out something in photoshop using Ringerike viking art as inspiration. After that, sculpting took center stage before moving on to retopo in 3DCoat, unwrapping everything in 3dsmax, baking with Marmoset and finishing off with Substance painter for the textures.
