Viking Axe Head (Heat-Formedable)

Viking Axe Head (Heat-Formedable)

These heat-formable axe heads took about two hours to print on medium-quality settings with 100% infill. A heat source can then be used to shape the back end of the head around a shaft, perfect for cosplay and historical reenactments where real edged weapons are not allowed. There are several options available, including models with engravings already integrated into them, as well as blank copies that you can customize with your own designs. I highly recommend editing the models using software like TinkerCAD to add an engraving, as PLA material can melt and warp when used with certain engraving tools.
