VIGOUR shower grate standoffs
thingiverse
The cover of our "VIGOUR" brand shower drain is supported inside its channel by eight little plastic standoff components. The user can adjust the height of the cover by sticking the stainless steel pins on the sides of the channel into any of five sets of holes in the standoffs. Our cleaner over time quite cleverly managed to wash six of the original eight parts down the drain, requiring replacements. So I modelled and printed some new ones. Modelling was done with the excellent ShapeScript app for macOS. The original standoffs appear to be 2.5mm thick but I modelled the replacements at 2mm, as it's quite tight and the PLA print seems sturdy enough at that thickness.
