I created this for a Fallout: New Vegas mod that's been under construction. The goal was to design a home with an expansive garage/workshop and a hidden space, but after scouring the Geck for suitable pieces I thought, "Forget it, I'll build one myself." So, I started building the floors and walls by laying down same-sized square planes to make texturing easier later on. Next, I crafted doors and windows (all fully animated) as simply as possible to minimize processing time. The secret room is accessible through a bookcase door, which can be triggered by the wall sconce on the right. In the living area, I punched a hole in the wall to make way for a fireplace later down the line. I also added a veranda since this house will have a great view once it's in game. A small prison cell was built outside because why not? It fits well with the character of the psychotic wasteland vigilante who owns this place. Finally, I constructed the roof and ceiling using the same tiling method to make texturing more manageable.
