This SolidWorks tool creates named viewpoints for later use in Drawings. Import the cube into your model, then select a face for direction and another for orientation before triggering NORMAL-TO command. Save the created view under a name and delete the cube. This method is faster and more repeatable than manually adjusting view orientations in SldDrw. In SldWrks, hold CTRL and left-click on faces to create views similar to ISO-VIEW. The orange faces represent standard views (FRONT, TOP, ISO) while yellow ones are 15° above XZ plane and green ones parallel to XZ but 15° lower than normal. This tool is useful for explosion views and reduces the need for manual modification of view angles. Include at least one isometric view in technical drawings, especially for complex milled pieces and sheet metal parts. ### Another: This SolidWorks tool creates named viewpoints for later use in Drawings through a cube-based method.
