Vidin synagogue

Built in 1894 in the neo-Gothic style, Vidin's second-largest synagogue stood as a testament to the local community's wealth and pride that had flourished for over five centuries after its arrival from Spain in the fifteenth century. The synagogue boasted a narthex, a prayer hall, and lofts, each decorated with a harmonious blend of classic architectural forms and ancient Jewish decorative symbols, aglow with vibrant stained-glass windows.
