This is the starting point for our journey towards intelligent, automated curtain rails. We're building on IKEA's VIDGA triple curtain rail system as the foundation. The endpiece or cap model we've designed closely resembles IKEA's version but with a few key differences - it's available in various colors and includes spare parts for easy replacements. This was our thinking behind creating this useful component. For mounting to aluminum extrusions, we recommend using 2xM5 nuts and 2xM5 grub screws that are 10mm long. Our workshop has also produced other VIDGA components: the rail connector is available at myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-77437, while the wall mount adapter can be found at myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-77428. A triple to single rail endpiece/converter is currently in development and will be released soon.
