This is the first stop on our journey towards creating automated, smart home curtain rails. We're starting with IKEA's VIDGA triple curtain rail system as the foundation for this project. This particular endpiece or cap model closely resembles the ones produced by IKEA but is only available in white, and having spare parts can be incredibly useful. That's why we think this could be a valuable resource for some people. For mounting this to aluminum extrusion, we recommend using 2xM5 nuts and 2xM5, 10mm long grub screws.
