VIDEO TUT PHONE HOLDER

I'm creating a phone holder for use during assembly video tutorials. When I started making videos to demonstrate the assembly sequences of my printed parts, I quickly realized that having a steady camera was not always possible. To solve this problem, I designed a phone holder that allows you to record videos with your smartphone while keeping both hands free. It's not the most comfortable solution, but it works well and could be improved. To make sure the phone is in focus, I added an adjustable lens holder. This way, you can position the lens at the right distance from the screen. The fixed holder fits my LG Optimus G perfectly, while the adjustable one can hold phones that are 80mm to 100mm wide. Here's what you'll need: * 2 M3 threaded rods, each 55 mm long * 4 M3 self-locking nuts * 2 springs with a diameter of 4 mm * 1 piece of aluminum pipe with a diameter of 16 mm * A pair of lenses commonly found on eBay * 1 hex screw with an M4x40 thread length * 8 screws with an M4x15 thread length * 9 nuts with an M4 thread
