VIDEO TUT PHONE HOLDER
thingiverse
This phone holder is perfect for recording assembly video tutorials. It's a game-changer when you're trying to show off your printed parts while keeping both hands free. I used to wear a helmet during recordings, but that was a bit of a hassle. This design allows me to focus on the task at hand and get a steady shot. To make it even better, I added an adjustable lens holder so I can focus on whatever's in front of me. I designed this phone holder specifically for my LG Optimus G, but it also works great with other phones between 80mm and 100mm wide. It's got a fixed holder that keeps everything secure, and an adjustable one that fits any size phone. Here are the print settings I used: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No To assemble this phone holder, you'll need the following parts: 2 x M3 threaded rods (55mm long) 4 x M3 self-locking nuts 2 x 4mm diameter springs 1 x 16mm diameter aluminum pipe 1 x pair of lenses (found on eBay) 1 x M4x40 hex screw 8 x M4x15 screws 9 x M4 nuts
