Video light power adapter for Sony batteries with cooling

I bought this inexpensive but bright light, knowing that I don't have a suitable Sony camcorder battery. An old laptop power supply should serve as the power source. My power supply brings 6 amps at 15 volts. In between a DC-DC 4.5-30V 12A step down converter and an old 80mm fan. The power adapter connection socket of the old laptop was also reused. The connection holes are kept small so that you can adapt them to your existing screws. I used these screws with which the slot covers are mounted in the PC. I used wire end sleeves as connection contacts, which I drilled to 2.9mm. Warning - the battery lock has been removed. The adapter can slip out if you operate it overhead. The adapter may also fit other video lights that work with the Sony batteries.
