Video Light LED 12V

Video Light LED 12V

Another DIY video light. The LED takes 12V 2A (24W), but it can be run at higher voltages as seen in BigClives' video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIspnsBp3o4 You can use the light without a diffuser, but I printed a thin white PETG layer to break up the LED pattern for smoother lighting. Also, I lost the tripod attachment part, so you'll have to design it yourself. It's not hard and will probably be better than mine. The strange .stl file called "LEDframe" is meant to hold the LED and heatsink steady. You don't need this if you glue the heatsinks directly to the frame. Passive cooling doesn't heat up too much without a fan at 12V 2A. Additional cooling may be recommended if running higher voltages. I use this dimmer to control power or make it blink, etc.: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pro-DC-5-24V-Mini-RF-Wireless-Led-Remote-Controller-Led-Dimmer-Controller-XCP5/253306217219?hash=item3afa3a2303:m:m180C6YzioQwZBf7JtJcS3Q:rk:2:pf:0 You'll need: M3 bolts and nuts Heatsink adhesive M4 bolt and nut Wire, etc. LED Panel: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-High-Power-12V-70W-7000LM-LED-Panel-Strip-COB-Chip-Light-Lamp-220X120mm/312153220689?hash=item48adc82651:m:mH-2mbHstV4NWCVqTYbbGpA:rk:1:pf:0 Heatsinks x 4: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Heat-Sink-Heatsink-for-High-Power-LED-Amplifier-Transistor-100x41x8mm/153276150984?hash=item23aff874c8:g:8aUAAOSwB9Fb-P3e:rk:1:pf:0
