Video Equations cover plate

You built your very own Video Equations, thanks to the brilliant mind at CFOGE, but what's that? Those big juicy capacitors, the wonderful IC's, they seem to draw your statically charged, oily, sticky fingers nearer and nearer, inviting disaster! Well no more - based on the enclosure design by CFOGE, I have drawn a blind plate which you can print yourself (with the STL) or get laser cut (with the DXF) and mount on your precious video synth, giving it much needed relief from curiously groping digits. Use a 23-25mm M3 standoff and mount it with M3 screws in any of the holes that align with the PCB and the enclosure. Use as many or as few as you like, but at least three should make it secure. It is still possible to change the battery while using this cover panel, and gently rounded cut-outs allow all but the meatiest of fingers easy access to the power button and reset button. Pictured above is both a 3D printed cover plate and a laser cut flourescent acrylic sheet, 3mm thick.
