Video Doorbell Universal Mount and Security Cover
thingiverse
There were some bizarre non uniform holes on my front door from years of different doorbells and video intercoms. Print: Lots of walls and layers, make it strong - maybe 4 perimeters and top/bottom layers. Go for 40% or more infill. NOTE: I print the cover at 101% because my printer tolerance isn't amazing - maybe 0.2mm tolerance minimum. Installation: 1. Mark up the existing mounting holes using a paper template and a pencil. I use a spirit level 2. Drill holes in the mount and screw into the wall. 3. Counter sink the holes by using a larger bit or counter sink 4. Screw the mount into the wall and pull through the doorbell cables 5. Put cover on and mark and drill holes for your doorbell bracket using a spirit level 6. Screw in the bracket and connect your doorbell wires then snap in your doorbell. VERY universal. remix to put holes in if yours are uniform.
