Victrola Tonearm (Non-Functional)
thingiverse
Working on a production of The Glass Menagerie, where a Victrola takes center stage. This replica's tonearm is meticulously crafted to resemble those from the 1930s. The base is constructed using traditional techniques, with plywood forming its sturdy foundation, which is then stained and coated with polyurethane for a rich finish. The horn is primarily made from cardboard and papier mache, with a reinforced base featuring a dollar store funnel for added strength. The crank is also 3D printed, and I've shared the details of that project separately.
