Victorian Hurricane Lamp

For a stage production, I sought a shatter-resistant hurricane lamp. After facing printer issues for the shade, I improvised with a plastic punch bowl. The fully assembled lamp stands 21 inches tall. All components were made using a Makerbot Replicator 2 with PLA plastic in white and natural hues, followed by spray paint where necessary. Each part, including "glass," "ball," and "shade" (printed twice for both halves), is designed to fit the Replicator s platform and must be glued together once printed.
