This was the first model I completed in 3DS Max; even I had no prior experience with the software, I felt compelled to challenge myself. As I worked within this timeframe, my understanding of the program grew significantly, allowing me to instinctively apply hotkeys from other familiar software. When you start effortlessly using hotkeys for one program after mastering them in another, it's a clear sign that you're becoming increasingly comfortable with the new tool. I designed the texture of the couch cushions to be fairly simple, yet I wanted to give them a distinct visual identity, so I created a vector pattern design in Illustrator and transformed it into an alpha channel in Substance Painter.
