Victoria Crater
myminifactory
Victoria Crater is a massive depression roughly 800 meters in width - about five times wider than Endurance Crater and an astonishing 40 times as wide as Eagle Crater. The south face of the towering Cape Verde promontory, which stands at an impressive 6 meters tall, can be clearly seen on the left side of the inner crater wall, situated a mere 50 meters away from the rover at the time of imaging. On the right side of the inner crater wall, the north face of the Cabo Frio rock formation comes into view - a stunning 15-meter-tall stack of layered rocks that will surely captivate space enthusiasts.
