Lighted logo for my sailboat. The posted .stl is a slight design change from the picture below, but works basically the same. Printed in transparent PLA, coated with thinned epoxy and paint in desired color(I used black). Epoxy coat is important to keep the paint from wicking into the sides of the letters between the layers. Then flip over and sand the paint off the top of the letters. The logo is backlit with one section of a 12vdc LED strip.(5mm or 7mm wide strip). Of course this logo can be resized as needed. Also, before mounting, place a bead of sealer or buytl tape around the edges to seal any light leakage.
