These two plastic vice jaws (125mm, flat and with notches) safeguard your material during clamping. The distinct feature of this design is that the magnets are situated in slots at the top, fully shielded, and can be secured to prevent damage upon removal. This design accommodates 2-3 magnets with a maximum size of 10x2mm (8x2 mm also possible). To secure the magnets, place them in the slot and close with small printed caps. A drop of glue (blue UHU) fixes the caps in place. Alternatively, you can seal the slot with glue. I manufactured vice jaws with notches using a powder-coated PEI sheet and the others with a regular PEI sheet to achieve a very flat surface without texture. Only 2 magnets were used, but you can also employ three for enhanced holding force. Scale up the vice jaws for a larger width.
