Vice Jaw
cults3d
These two plastic vice jaws (125mm, flat and with notches) securely hold your material in place during clamping. Their unique design sets them apart from others - the magnets sit snugly in slots at the top, fully protected from damage, and can be easily removed without causing harm. This design accommodates 2-3 magnets, each no larger than 10x2mm (8x2 mm also possible), providing a reliable grip. To secure the magnets, simply place them in the slot and close with small printed caps. A drop of blue UHU glue fixes the caps in place, or you can seal the slot with glue if preferred. I experimented with two different printing techniques: one set of vice jaws features notches on a powder-coated PEI sheet for an exceptionally flat surface without texture, while the others use a regular PEI sheet. Two magnets provide sufficient holding force, but using three will yield even better results. To accommodate larger materials, simply scale up the vice jaw design to your desired width.
