Almost finished with my other gimbal holder project when I discovered old dampers from a laser-cut gimbal. These affordable dampers are commonly used on rail-style mounting systems and keep the camera closer while requiring less material. This is a work in progress (WIP); updates will be provided upon completion. STL files and FreeCAD documents are now available online. EDIT: I recently finished creating a "smarter" plate, which positions the gimbal on top of the frame rather than in front of it. This adjustment moves the center of gravity further back, benefiting from using a deadcat kit. The new design offers extra clearance for motors and space for the driver board. It's an impressive build that functions flawlessly! To assemble, print the necessary components and secure them with 4 nuts and bolts or rivets, depending on your preference.
