This 3D model set creates a compact bulk linear vibrator suitable for 3D printing. It's an ideal complement to my previously published bowl feeder designs. Initially, I developed this unit as a supplementary feeder for a small project that loaded 6mm O rings into an automated assembly machine. Once the bowl feeder reached a low parts level, this device kicked in and refilled it to optimal capacity before shutting down and waiting for the next replenishment cycle. Notwithstanding its small size, this compact vibrator can handle heavy loads of metallic components without any issues. The feedout rate is easily adjustable using the internal baffles and altering the running frequency. Additional items required for assembly include a vibrating motor (22mm body diameter is recommended), 6 x M3x6 socket head cap screws, a PWM controller, and a DC power source. Better results can be achieved by using a higher-quality PWM controller rather than budget-friendly options.
