Vibrating Table
thingiverse
In the upcoming year, I aim to develop an innovative machine that can efficiently pick up screws. This vibrating table will play a crucial role in flattening them out, allowing for seamless picking. Although the picking mechanism has not yet been built, it's destined to be either a sophisticated delta robot or a highly advanced robotic arm. The mechanics of this table are remarkably straightforward. A motor is mounted on its axle, featuring an offset weight that generates a vibration when activated. This motor is securely fastened to the underside of the table's top half, causing it to vibrate. Springs are strategically placed between the top and bottom halves of the table to dampen these vibrations, which then dissipate to the base. Screws or other objects can be conveniently placed on the table's surface.
