The Airband Radio Mount lets me attach my airband radio to my paraglider, providing seamless communication while flying. It uses the radio's belt clip to securely attach to a sturdy 25mm tube, ensuring stability in mid-air. This mount is an innovative spin-off of my original UHF radio mount, designed specifically for ICOM A15 airband transceivers on Thingiverse (thing:283818). Due to its larger dimensions, the A15's belt clip provides better attachment, and the increased size of the radio itself improves reception clarity compared to smaller models like the Baotang UHF. As before, I've incorporated channels for convenient zip-tie management. I added an extra hole for shorter UHF clips to be attached but noticed it was slightly loose; an adapter might resolve this issue, fine-tuning the mount's performance.
