Shell deflector for the VFC SCAR-H/MK17 AEG's. Should also fit other AEG's that stick to the real SCAR external specs, like Echo 1 (VFC), WE, or Ares, but I can't be sure as I don't own one to test. Will not fit TM/Dboys/Double Bell Old-Style SCAR-H's, check out Wolfwoodgio on Cults for their shell deflector for those rifles.VFC stock deflectors kinda suck and tend to break if abused due to not being glass reinforced nylon. They are just regular nylon.I have reinforced the interface where the Double-D shaped threaded insert nuts are used, this keeps the plastic from deforming when these are really cinched down.Print with supports as imported. Might even need a raft, it's a tough print for FDM, but if you print it in any other orientation it will be weaker than the stock part.Use PETG at a minimum, CF-PETG, Nylon, ASA, CF-Nylon, or CF-ASA would be the best. Don't use PC as it's way too hard. The part needs to have some flex to survive stresses long-term. I've been using a CF-ASA part for about six months now and it's survived an amazing amount of abuse.Update 01/19/2024: Did some work to the model to make it more accurate, as well as fix the wrong angle in the ramp section to mate with the stock lock tab better. It now holds extremely strongly and should mate up with the stock tab more or less perfectly. The filename will end in v5 to indicate the 5th revision. 2-4 were internal and never released.
