UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER 2022: The kit is capable of supporting Wolverine Infernos as well as the addition of a functioning safety, these files will be available in the discord, there was also a slight price increase due to the inflation of the Canadian dollar (~$5 CAD) UPDATE AS OF MAY 2022: There is now a MK1 variant that does allow for the original selector to be used! Yes this is the design that was copied and part of the drama. More information about that in my discord server (link at the bottom of description) The VFC MP7 AEG is a neat airsoft replica, one of the only MP7s in the airsoft world to have 1:1 real steel dimensions as well as fully licensed trademarks. Other MP7s on the market are either GBB (and that comes with its own fair share of other issues ie: body cracks) or AEP (using undersized gearboxes meant to fit into electric pistols resulting in their own fair share of issues as well). VFC's offering also has its issues, namely a very proprietary gearbox, horribly unreliable tappet plate and sector delayer. Options to replace these parts exist however aluminium tappet plates are not known to be the best. So if your MP7 dies (which it most likely will if it hasn't yet), your options are to a) warranty (most recommended), b) replace with Bullgear set, or c) try to HPA it. Currently, in the world, there are 2 ways to HPA the MP7 (that I am aware of), my set, and that used by Powair6 in Europe. My kit replaces the whole internal chassis with a 3D printed one that reuses the original hopup chamber....and that's about it. Powair6 actually machines away parts of the gearbox in order to get an HPA engine to fit. The trigger pull length is also adjustable by the end-user. Barrel length is also customizable so if you wanted to run a longer inner barrel, that can be accounted for. Included is also an MP7 Buffer tube adaptor so you can build it like an MP7 from Call of Duty Modern Warfare. From my make, alignment is near perfect and I was experiencing +/- 1 FPS on .2g BBs. This may differ for you however I expect you to be able to align the engine properly. Due to the nature of the geometry of the MP7 and using a centerline nozzle in a replica that should use an offset nozzle, you will lose the functionality of the mock bolt and a couple of other small features. However in my personal opinion, that's pennies to lose when you gain so much performance, reliability, and obviously, coolness factor when pulling up to the field. Things you will need for this kit: 1x Polarstar Jack with M4 Nozzle (https://tinyurl.com/t4rb5yn5) (updated to work with F2 as well) 1x Microswitch (https://tinyurl.com/2u2r3wt6) ~15x M3 Screws and Nuts (a kit would be best since different lengths are used https://tinyurl.com/wfujnwtk) 3D printer, glue, wire and solder. A Polarstar Universal Plug Board could help for those who don't want to do extra soldering and have neater wire management (https://tinyurl.com/8jrar3at) Soon I will be making a comprehensive slideshow (with pictures) on how to assemble the kit and it will be in the discord server. Not recommended for those who are not technically inclined, hand it over to somebody who knows what they're doing or message me directly and I can help you out. Here is a quick gameplay video (not the best footage) of it being used at one of my local fields (PRZ Paintball - used to be a military base, then was a mental hospital): https://youtu.be/OxGT6gbh6os Feel free to join my Discord server. You will not be able to see much until you message me with your Cults3D username so I can verify the purchase. The installation guide, future updated files, and a community for you guys to discuss the build process and airsoft as a whole will be available here! https://discord.gg/xHJqVqKqKp
