VFC HK 416/ 417 integrated gasblock folding front sight

This was designed for use with a VFC 417 GBBR gasblock, but should work just fine with any VFC 416/ 417 series airsoft gun. Designed around a random spring I found with dimensions 13.5 mm length and 3.8 mm outer diameter. Coil width/ spring strength shouldn't really matter, and the spring can be a little longer, but probably wouldn't work well any shorter. For the sight post, it was designed for a small 25x1.9 mm metal rod, but anything a little larger should work if you just drill out the sight post hole a bit or cut down whatever metal rod you use. It uses a caveman-brain method of mounting to the gasblock, that being just a screw threaded directly into the body of the sight, but it works. There's no actual threads in it, but just manually tapping it with whatever screw you use works just fine, I used an M3 screw, but any screw with small threads, a 3.8 mm OD, and a head with less than a 5.5 mm head diameter (if you want the screw to be more flush with the front sight.) Assembly is simple: just slide the spring into the circular cutout in the middle of the front sight, then, using a small/ thin tool, like a 1.5 mm hex key, slide the tool through the rectangular cutout on the side of the sight, then slide the "locking block" in. The spring should end up fitting into the groove in the locking block to keep the block in place. Sand as needed if there's too much friction. Printed at .1 layer height with 50% or more infill and 3 to 5 walls should give good results.
