VEX Robotics Competition | VEX U | PYRO Robotics This 3D printed license plate holder for VEX robots allows teams to switch their license plates to any alliance color instantly, saving time and frustration. Frustrated with flimsy VEX IQ pins that easily got lost or the hassle of unscrewing a nut or bolt to secure our team's license plates, I designed this model as a solution. During design, I made sure to avoid using support material when printing, ensuring a smooth and easy print without any extra steps. This is version one; in the future, I plan to revise these models to be more compact and fit snugly into the limited space of VEX robots. Although not yet as compact as desired, this current design is fully functional and performed exactly as needed at the 2019 VEX U World Championship.
