Vex Pro Mecanum Wheel Tetrix Adapter / Thunderhex to Tetrix Adapter
thingiverse
As we differentiate our design from others, our focus was placed on tailoring the size of the thunderhex axle to match tetrix standards. The hole dimension is identical to that found in a standard tetrix channel, indicating its versatility and compatibility with both larger motors and smaller tetrix axles equipped with bushing or axle hubs. You'll need to find an effective means to secure the wheel on the opposite end, lest it becomes dislodged. A practical solution involves adding bushings and guiding a tetrix axle through them, finishing with a securely fastened axle hub on the other side. The creation of this part was carried out by FTC Team 6567 RoboRaiders. Note: Please do not use these parts with the VEX mecanum wheels located here:http://www.vexrobotics.com/mecanum-wheels.html, as their axles are different in size. When utilizing this component, make sure to print it at high resolution (100μm) using full fill settings. This precaution will prevent the axle from snapping off prematurely. In assembling your mecanum wheels, carefully verify that all parts have been properly assembled by inserting an hex key into the shaft and checking for any ridges in the joint area where the two primary components intersect.
