I decided to create a carrier for the smaller gears after printing the 84-tooth planetary gear designed by ElectronicToast on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2020520). It doesn't provide smooth rotation, and I'm still trying to figure out how to keep all the gears in place, but it's a passable demonstration of how a planetary gear functions.
