EDIT: 6/25/2015 Added new files for printing a hollow scope. The idea was that clear lenses and maybe LED's could be added later. The upper shell is okay but the "tube" bit is causing problems. Triangles from the legs poke up through the tube without a Netfabb Pro, which hasn't figured out how to trim them off without leaving huge holes in the legs. Everything looks okay so far. Anyways here are the new files added. Scope-tube-hollow-problematic.stl (See note above!) Scope-upper-shell.stl Barrel-Guards.stl Butt_plate-Cover.stl Frame-guards.stl Front-Barrel-andFrame.stl Grips.stl Grips_outer-shell-cap-bolt-heads.stl Grips_outer-shell-cap.stl Grips_outer-shell.stl Lower-FrameGuard-tabs.stl Lower-FrameGuard.stl LowerFame-Trigger.stl Rear-grip-test-part-left.stl Rear-grip-test-part-right.stl Rear-grip-test-part.stl UpperShell-main.stl UpperShell-Spine.stl UpperShell-Tabs.stl In Brief: I am working on dissecting the DestinySTLGenerator version of the Vex Mythoclast into several smaller parts that will be assembled later into one final (cosplay-sized) prop. Currently 1:1 scale. Long Version: While staring at this part wondering how in the heck I would print it (hours, I tell you hours!), I started noticing there were some "floating" parts which were either not connected at all or connected by a single face (not very stable). With much painstaking work and using a bunch of different tools, Although what I find amusing is that the part groups are fairly spread out... as in the bolt-heads on the upper left shell are one unit but on the right-side they're not.
