Vex Mecanum Wheel to Pitsco Hub Mount

This adapter mates the 4" Vex mecanum wheel to the Pitsco Max 4.7 mm axle hub. Multiple Vex mecanum wheels are available, but this adapter works specifically with the 4" version: https://www.vexrobotics.com/mecanum-wheels.html Part numbers for the compatible Vex mecanum wheels are 217-3645 and 217-3644. The Pitsco part number that mates with this adapter is W39172. Additional parts needed per wheel include: * Six long screws to secure the adapter to the wheel, #8-32, 2.5" in length (e.g. McMaster-Carr PN: 92949A821) * Six #8-32 hex nuts (e.g. McMaster-Carr PN: 90480A009) Key design choices: * A length of hex shaft matching the Vex "Thunderhex" shaft is used to transfer torque to the wheel. * Cutouts in the hex shaft allow screws to pass through and secure the Pitsco hub to the printed adapter. * A raised platform for the hub positions it above screw heads.
