I downloaded the original source file and immediately spotted a rogue leg meshed in with its left counterpart, rendering it completely unusable - the controllers kept hanging at an awkward tilt due to the excess material. To rectify this issue, I fired up Meshmixer to remove the unwanted structure and restore balance to the build.
