<p>Bought a budget Vevor swing away 15x15mm heat press and found the front edge of the 15x15 plates were way out of parallel, by roughly one half inch too high on the front edge! I decided to try to fix the instead of returning and came up with this shim which seems to work perfectly to correct the parallel plate issue I saw out of the box.</p><p>If the heating element plate is removed with two wingnuts, then this shim resolves about a 5mm height discrepancy between front and back measurements between the bottom spring plate to the lower fixed plate.</p><p>Adding this 2mm shim with the thicker side on the top fixed the out of parallel plate issue.</p>
