After many expeditions into the waste, one becomes numb to the horrors within. Getting choice gear from expeditions means that one is better equipped to contend with the creatures that call this hellhole home. These individuals, known as Veteran Scavengers, are sought out by the Procurement Guild to lead others into the wastes and help them sort out which items would be highly coveted by those searching for items of particular interest. A veteran scavenger is easily identifiable in a group. Armed and Armoured with the finest gear, they might not appear to be much, but they’ve learned that flash and pomp is what gets you killed in the wastes - and it is the unassuming warrior that often survives the most dangerous of circumstances.
