sketchfab
The Mathurins' Convent was the home of the Trinitarian Order in the early 13th century, located right in the heart of Paris next to the current Cluny Museum of the Middle Ages (intersection of Sommerard Street and Cluny Street), until its dissolution in 1790. This location served as the seat of the University of Paris, with all assemblies held in the cloister. The entire complex was destroyed during the Revolution, some remnants were discovered and destroyed during the works of Baron Haussman. In 1907, during the demolition of a nearby store, a remaining arcade was uncovered and is still visible to passersby today. Other remnants are also still visible in private courtyards of contemporary constructions. The convent building before its destruction photos: Samsung phone; Agisoft Photoscan
