Vespera Charger Reinforcement Collar

Vespera Charger Reinforcement Collar

When I lay my Vespera down on the couch to recharge it, if the dogs walk by and brush against the cord it disconnects the charger plug from the telescope. This is a reinforcement to prevent disconnection. The plug slides through the collar with slight friction and is also held in place by the built-in magnets. The reinforcing collar is Super-glued to the telescope. SO BE CAREFUL! Make sure you like the fit/friction of the plug in the collar BEFORE you glue the collar to the telescope! You can scale the thing up and down a little in your slicer if you don't like the fit. Once you are sure you are happy with the fit, push the plug through the collar a little too far; then put a small bead of glue along the outside edge of the collar, then connect the plug to the telescope, then push the collar down. While pushing the collar against the telescope, remove the plug and then wait for the glue to dry. I used TPU filament, but I suppose any would work.
