Vespa Piaggio 125 simplified cnc
thingiverse
This design was a request from a reader who is part of a Vespa club. He asked me to draw a simplified model of the classic Vespa, and my simplification worked surprisingly well. A few rounded edges helped to show the distinctive features, especially the fenders. I'm not a big fan of motorized vehicles as such because of their negative impact on the environment, but I adore the design language of this Italian beauty. I tried the model in various sizes - 6.3 mm and 9 mm. The drawing can be scaled according to the material width you have available. As a reference, use the square in the seat cushion. Using my Sorotec Basicline CNC machine, milling was simple. You can see in the images that I even tried using different woods for the seat and wheels.
