VESPA PIAGGIO 125 - 1951 FIRST MODEL

I was born in the same town where the VESPA designer took their first breaths. A close buddy of mine, Mao Casella, designed and shared his own spin on the world's most iconic scooter a few years ago. Sadly, Mao is no longer with us. I wish you were here, my friend. So, I decided to meticulously recreate the absolute FIRST MODEL of the VESPA 125 born in 1951, just after World War II. This model sparked the beginning of PIAGGIO's legendary history and became an Italian icon representing a unique way of life. To optimize this model for 3D printing, I devoted significant time to refine it specifically for use with a 0.4 Nozzle. The entire project is designed to fit within the standard volume of 200x200x200 mm found in common desktop printers. This was a challenging task, as no one had ever attempted it before. To achieve precision, I used authentic Blue Prints from PIAGGIO and placed real VESPA pictures beneath my CAD designs to replicate every detail accurately. I only made minor adjustments to enhance printing quality or enlarge parts that were too small to print. The chosen scale of the model is 27 cm in length. I printed each part with precision to ensure they function well, paying close attention to tolerances. For best results, use supports and High Resolution printing (I recommend 0.1 mm). Assembling the model is relatively easy; the original was painted a Metallic Green hue. I hope you appreciate this masterpiece of design!
