I've Found a Better Way to Mount My Monitor. Here's How I Did It. MaxMachts' VESA Monitor Wall Mount just wasn't cutting it for me, so I set out to create my own improved version. Since all I had on hand were studs to work with, I decided to design a wall mount that attaches securely to just one of them. I started by taking MaxMachts' monitor mount as is, without making any changes. From there, I got to work designing a brand new wall mount that would fit perfectly into my existing setup. The result was a sturdy and reliable attachment point for my monitor, all held together with the confidence of knowing it's securely fastened to a single stud.
