VESA To Raspberry Pi (RPi) Mount

VESA To Raspberry Pi (RPi) Mount

There are several high-quality Raspberry Pi cases that let you securely attach your RPi to the back of a monitor or TV using a VESA mount, but if you're like me, you have an existing case for your RPi, which makes it convenient to mount and dismount as needed. This design provides a solution for this need. If you want to remove the RPi (in its case) from the monitor for some time to work on it without having to mess with screws, you can do so easily, then put it back in place when you're ready. The RPi will be slightly elevated away from the bracket and the monitor/TV for better air circulation. To ensure compatibility, your RPi case should have screw-hanger holes spaced 40mm apart. Fortunately, both of my RPI cases have this same spacing, which suggests that many other cases are likely to have the same configuration. To install this item, simply print it out and screw in two small #6 round-head or pan-head screws into the center area. Then, attach the frame to your monitor's VESA holes by adjusting the two central screws until your case fits snugly onto them. This project is still a work in progress, with some areas that need improvement. I envision adding cable tie-down spots and clips at some point to enhance its functionality and usability.
