VESA Quick Release for VKB Gladiator NXT
thingiverse
I designed this to be a more solid QR mechanism for the VKB Gladiator NXT to a VESA arm. Top part is based on the design here. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4671660 I filled in the center and added mounting holes for the top portion of a tripod QR plate. There are cut outs to insert M4 nuts. Depending on your printer calibration you may have to use a decent amount of force to press them in. For me, I could press them in with my fingers. You could put a 1/4" screw in the top as well, but I opted to leave it out as the three M4 screws were more than enough. To bottom part takes the base of the tripod QR release mount. It attaches to the VESA arm. It attaches with a single 1/4" bolt, I had to dremel the bolt shorter to not interfere with the mechanism. Attached are STL and STEP files. Here is the OnShape link for those who wish to modify it themselves. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/179676495f5de1b3979a5ff5/w/fca23d7e955ad30eaedf294f/e/a4190941a9005fee3b64c69f Here is the QR I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VVP7HSK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 You might be able to use others like it, however the base part fits into the cutout specifically, so if it used a different mold to make it, it may not work without modifications.
