VESA Mount Anton Bauer Battery Plate Adapter for IKAN V17
thingiverse
This is an older IKAN monitor, not the new V17e. The plate initially attached with a single screw, causing it to spin and leave circle marks on the back. However, when the VESA Monitor Mount from EZ FX was added, the battery couldn't be placed on the monitor anymore. The user then decided to 3D print a solution using an Ultimaker, creating a design that may not be perfect but gets the job done. The printed version might differ from the STL file, and some adjustments were made after printing with a Dremel tool. Mistakes like the opening on the wrong side and the small opening for the plate were corrected in the STL file. The user is considering printing this design again due to its effectiveness and longevity. They also plan to use parts of this design for another plate for their Jib. This large flat surface did curl slightly, but taping it helped prevent peeling. The user wishes they had a heated bed for better results. They look forward to hearing feedback on the final product and will post pictures once printed. The original STL file is still available for those interested in using it. The required screw sizes are 2 VESA Mount Screws and 4 back plate screws, which can be found at a local hardware store.
