I purchased several Dell monitors and used them for an extended period. Eventually, I acquired a mount, allowing me to set up a 4-monitor display. Unfortunately, these monitors lacked VESA mounts, prompting me to consider replacing all my screens. I decided to design an adapter that would fit on each monitor, attaching it securely to my existing VESA mounts. This is the result of that endeavor. Print this mount in Nylon with a 100% infill and stand it upright. No supports are necessary; however, two built-in supports can be easily clipped away if needed. You may need to fine-tune the fit slightly, but it should work well overall. The version available here requires cutting 1/2 inch of the plastic flap covering the mount on each monitor. I am currently working on an updated design that will not necessitate this modification. Additionally, a monitor mount is included, which involves threading a bolt with about 1/4" thickness through one end and using a 3M pad on the other to keep it upright. You can fine-adjust the angle using this bolt and two nuts that fit. 9/17/18 I added a Monitor Bolt Holder. To use it, insert a .25" threaded rod into the holder and screw it in. Apply 3M adhesive to the large flat side and pass the bolt through the top largest hole. Secure it in place at the desired angle using washers and nuts. This can also be used for fine angle adjustments. 9/18/18 I awoke to a loud crash, caused by the adhesive pad coming loose and flinging my monitor towards my desk. Unfortunately, this snapped the bracket at its weakest point. As a result, I decided to modify my approach. Use one of these brackets glued to the back of your monitor. Slide a zip tie through and through the top hole of the mount, pull it tight so that it flexes slightly, and secure it in place. Proper positioning will make the Dell logo on the back resemble a power symbol, with the zip tie holder splitting the circle vertically. Print this out of Nylon as well.
