I reused the monitor mounting interface from the ACER R240HY monitor's base to create this VESA mounting adapter. By doing so, I avoided stressing the positioning screws that attach from below with any bending stress. Instead, I relied on the protrusion at the back of the adapter to absorb and distribute the force. As a result, the ACER mount can now slide directly into the adapter.
