VeryMask v2 - This Open Source Mask was designed to meet the current surge in demand for face shield Masks. Key advantages: Multi-use. Can be sterilized in hospitals via industry-standard Ozone sterilization systems. Extremely comfortable to wear, lightweight, flexible, and adjustable in size. Ultra-simple assembly process. Extremely affordable to fabricate. Very few and simple parts required. Mass production or DIY production capabilities. No special tools or tooling necessary: For mass production, a printing house should use the given design to cut plastic sheets. For home production, a template tool is attached for 3D printer fabrication, enabling rapid cutting and hole punching. Several options for fastening the mask parts together: Either laser cutting for plastic fasteners, simple zip ties assembly, or 3D printing technologies are all suitable. (Fastener part is attached in the 3D model files) For hospital sterilization systems, laser cutting or zip ties are recommended due to home 3D printed parts being porous.
