Very Strong Trinus Spool Holder (4 parts)
thingiverse
Here is a very strong spool holder designed specifically for the new Kodama Trinus. I printed the two pillars using classic Polyplus Grey PLA and the tube with Aluminium PLA that I ordered directly from my printer. This aluminium PLA has proven to be incredibly robust, surpassing even the strength of classic PLA in every way. It's also surprisingly easy to print and boasts a finish that's nothing short of stunning - as you can clearly see for yourself! One of the standout features of this design is its ability to print without the need for rafts or supports. Be sure to check the standing before printing, however. Taking your time to ensure a high-quality finish is essential, as it took me approximately 7 hours per pillar and 12 hours per tube segment - adding up to a total of around 38 hours with high-quality settings. I've also added two new STL files: tube_26mm_01.stl and tube_26mm_02.stl. These are the smaller tube versions, measuring in at 26mm as opposed to the standard 48mm size. If you found this design useful, feel free to show your appreciation with a tip!
